After having completed his studies in piano and composition at the Conservatory "G. Donizetti" he specialised with Aldo Ciccolini and dedicated himself to concert activity, including debuting as a soloist with the orchestra of I Pomeriggi Musicali and expanding his chamber repertoire with members of the Berliner Philharmoniker.

His interest in ancient instruments led him to specialise in Fortepiano at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis, where under Edoardo Torbianelli he obtained the Master of Arts in historical performance practice on period instruments. Numerous concerts in France (Fondation Royaumont) and at the Tagliavini Collection in Bologna followed.

The study of historical sources led him to become passionate about Opera, which prompted him to dedicate himself more and more to working with singers.

From 2011 to 2015 his experience as a coach/repetitor and assistant for the Donizetti Festival and the Teatro di Como As.Li.Co allowed him to build a vast bel canto repertoire, collaborating with singers of international repute and assisting numerous conductors, including Corrado Rovaris, Sebastiano Rolli, Christopher Franklin.

At the same time he studied conducting at the "Verdi" Conservatory in Milan with M° Parisi, and then he specialised with M° Gelmetti at the "Accademia Chigiana" in Siena.

After his operatic debut in 2014 with “L'Elisir d'amore” at the Teatro Mancinelli in Orvieto, he conducted “Betly” at the Teatro Donizetti and “L'Elisir d'amore” at the Teatro Sociale in Bergamo. At the Rubini Foundation he conducted “La Traviata” with the winners of the International singing competition.

He has also collaborated for symphonic concerts with I Musici di Parma and I Pomeriggi Musicali in Milano (MiTo Festival).

In September 2016 he became conductor and coach at the Theater Heidelberg in Germany, the performances of “Hänsel und Gretel”, “Die Zauberflöte”, “Freischütz”, “Anatevka”, “Don Pasquale” were under his baton.

A member of the Dirigentenforum since 2017, he has conducted the Vanemuine Symphony Orchestra in Estonia as well as the Südwestdeutsche Philharmonie Konstanz in Germany.

He was invited in 2018 by the Daegu Opera House in Korea as musical director from the Harpsichord for “Le nozze di Figaro”.

For the Baroque Festival Winter in Schwetzingen he was musical assistant and conductor from the harpsichord in Zingarelli´s “Giulietta e Romeo” (2016), from the fortepiano in Porpora´s “Mitridate” (2017) and in November 2018 he was musical director from the harpsichord of “La Verità in cimento” by Vivaldi.

In 2019 he conducted “Il Barbiere di Siviglia” at the Theater Kiel and Kalman's operetta “Die Herzogin von Chicago” in Bremerhaven.

As 1. Kapellmeister at the Stadttheater Bremerhaven, he recently conducted “La Cenerentola” and “Cavalleria rusticana/Pagliacci” as well as the musicals “Der Graf von Montechristo” and “Chicago”.

Since autumn 2019 he has been regularly invited to conduct symphonic concerts with the Baden-Baden Philharmonie.

Engagements in the season 21/22 include the musical “Chess”, „Les Contes d´Hoffmann“, „Die Entführung aus dem Serail“ and „Der Kaiser von Atlantis“, as well as a symphonic concert and an Operettengala.
